Then began washing the callus tools in that water too. ![]() They rushed through and at one point, the lady put the Towels that had been wrapped around my legs INTO the water my feet were soaking in, and just left them there. I used a Groupon for shellac mani and pedi. I hate making bad reviews, but in this case, I do want to help people from not wasting money. Had my mom not paid for the manicure in advance (I know, bad idea, but she didn't want to have to reach into her wallet while her nails were drying), I wouldn't have paid at all for such a terrible job and service. When I pointed out that they looked crooked and I wanted them re-done, she told me it my my fault because my finger was crooked! Well I've had many manicures in my life and never before have I had a problem with my "crooked finger". a couple of my nails feel bumpy, and a few of them are put on crooked. Like she left a gap between my cuticle and where the pink part of the SNS nail is. First of all, the lady did my nails in such a way that they look like they need to be filled. I got a regular pedi (which turned out okay), and an SNS manicure (which turned out horribly). Like most of the posters on here, I found this place via a Groupon, and all I can say is: Awful! The nail technician was taking and laughing with her co-workers in a way that it seemed like they were talking about me, the customer. Message to the owner/manager of this salon:If you cannot oblige appointments because you get so many walk ins, please don't take appointments and mostly please train your staff to be professional and polite. This place is just trying to crank through as many customers as possible, so just skip it and go somewhere that will give you decent service. but it was not busy. The people working here aren't friendly. I understand when its busy, some people do that. Some of my nails are not painted all the way. I felt as the lady who did my nails, rushed through it. ![]() I got a manicure and pedicure, and though the prices are good, it's nothing great. I was getting frustrated, so I left and decided to just go back on monday when they werent that busy.I went back yesterday, and I was right because they only have 2 customers when I came in. I understand that they are busy, so I waited patiently only to be told I still had to wait 30 minutes. I've visited this salon for the first time last thursday, I have made an appointment, showed up 5-10 minutes early, when I walked in to the door, They just look at me, no one even greeted or tried to talk to me. I would have added the lady's name that worked on me but she never told me her name and she didn't have her name tag. After asking her to slow down and stop being so rough 3 times I finally told her just to complete the color (using shellac) and be finished. She wasn't just cutting cuticle dead skin but real meat that I knew was going to throb when I got out of there. She was so fast that I had to slow her down because she was hurting me so much. She pulled and cut my nails so much that I had to tell her to stop. There was very little wait before I was asked to sit in the far right pedicure station after choosing a color. All is good at this point. He said the reviews were not good but I decided I would still go because I was running out of time. ![]() My husband read reviews on the way to the salon. Called and they said I could come now so I did. I was in Austin for a wedding and needed my nails done so I got on Groupon to find a local deal.
